SCHUBERTH SC EDGE ANC Communication Kit – Active Noise Cancellation Bluetooth System

The SCHUBERTH SC EDGE ANC Communication Kit is a groundbreaking motorcycle communication system developed exclusively for the Schuberth C5 ANC helmet. Designed in collaboration with SCHUBERTH and Cardo Systems, this unit introduces true Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to motorcycle riding, delivering an unprecedented level of acoustic comfort, clarity, and rider focus.

This product is a standalone communication kit and is not included with the helmet as standard. It must be purchased separately to activate Bluetooth, intercom, and ANC functionality.

Important Compatibility Information

This communication system is compatible ONLY with the Schuberth C5 ANC helmet.

The SC EDGE ANC system will NOT work with the standard Schuberth C5. Although the standard C5 is communication-ready, it is not designed to accept the SC EDGE ANC hardware.

The reason for this is technical: the SC EDGE ANC uses 53 mm HD speakers, which are significantly larger than standard helmet speakers. The Schuberth C5 ANC features a redesigned EPS and interior layout specifically engineered to accommodate these larger speakers and the ANC hardware.

The standard Schuberth C5 does not have the internal space required for these components, and therefore the SC EDGE ANC system cannot be fitted or used safely or correctly.

Why Active Noise Cancellation Matters

Aeroacoustic performance plays a critical role in rider comfort, fatigue reduction, and passive safety. Even small reductions in noise exposure can have a major impact on long-distance riding comfort.

The SC EDGE ANC system delivers up to 10 dB of active noise reduction at peak levels at 100 km/h on a naked bike. This dramatically reduces low-frequency wind and road noise that traditional passive helmets cannot eliminate.

ANC tuning is specifically optimised for motorcycle riding conditions, allowing riders to experience clearer audio, reduced fatigue, and improved concentration on the road.

All SCHUBERTH helmets meet ECE 22.06 regulations with or without the communication system installed. This means safety certification is never compromised when using approved SCHUBERTH accessories.
