Important — ANC Intercom Not Included

The C5 ANC helmet does not come with the SC Edge ANC communication system as standard. The helmet is fully pre-wired — speakers, mesh antenna, FM and Bluetooth antennas are all installed inside the shell — but the SC Edge ANC unit must be purchased separately.

Safety FAQ — Active Noise Cancellation

Does ANC replace hearing protection?

Do not rely on ANC instead of appropriate hearing protection. The listed system targets low-frequency wind noise; this is not a guarantee of safe noise exposure. Follow Schuberth's instructions.

Can I rely on hearing sirens, horns and traffic?

No guarantee is made that every warning sound will be audible. Maintain visual checks and awareness of surrounding traffic, and avoid distracting audio levels. Pull over safely before changing system settings.

What happens with ANC off or a depleted battery?

Without power, active noise cancellation is unavailable. The listed acoustic figure is not a guaranteed noise level in every riding condition. Consult the helmet and communication-system instructions for operation.

Does the Gloss White helmet include the ANC system?

The helmet is pre-wired, but the SC Edge ANC communication system is purchased separately. The appropriate system must be fitted and powered for ANC to operate.
