The Edale II is one of Merlin's most complete wax cotton jackets. It's built from the exclusive 8oz Halley Stevensons Cotec — a lighter, more breathable wax than the traditional heavy-duty versions, developed in collaboration with Merlin specifically for motorcycle use. The olive finish gives it a classic, understated look that ages well with the wax.

Protection is comprehensive from the off. D3O LP1 shoulder and elbow protectors come pre-fitted, and unusually for this price point, a D3O Viper Large back protector is also included — not just a pocket for one. The whole jacket is CE EN17092 Level AA certified.

Inside, an Outlast temperature-regulating liner manages heat before you start sweating, and a Texland Humax waterproof membrane (15k/10k) keeps the rain out. Leather piping on the collar, cuffs and pocket edges, corduroy inner collar and cuffs, and Marton Mills tartan trim give it a quality finish throughout.
