Alpinestars SMX-6 V3 Boots Size Chart

The standard, non-waterproof Alpinestars SMX-6 V3 sports boots have slightly different UK conversions at certain sizes. Use this chart specifically for the SMX-6 V3 non-Drystar version.

Alpinestars Faster-4 and Stated Short Boots Size Chart

Alpinestars makes several trainer-style motorcycle boots and riding shoes, including the Faster-4 and Stated ranges. These use different sizing from some of the taller racing and touring boots.

Alpinestars Tech 7, Tech 10 and Belize V2 Size Chart

Alpinestars motocross boots, including the Tech 7 and Tech 10, use European sizes such as 40.5, 44.5 and 45.5. The Belize V2 adventure boots use the same conversions for the sizes shown below.

Not every model is manufactured in every size. The Belize V2, for example, has a smaller size range than some Tech motocross boots.

Motocross boots can also feel considerably stiffer than ordinary motorcycle footwear. Check the fit around your foot, ankle and calf, particularly when wearing motocross trousers and thick riding socks.

Alpinestars Stella motorcycle boots are designed for women riders and use their own size conversions.

How to Measure Your Feet for Alpinestars Boots

If you're unsure of your usual shoe size, measuring your feet is a good starting point.

  1. Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
  2. Mark the position of your longest toe.
  3. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
  4. Repeat with your other foot, as one may be slightly larger.
  5. Use the larger measurement when checking the sizing information for your chosen boot.

Foot length helps you choose a starting size, but width, instep height and the shape of the boot also affect the fit.

How Should Alpinestars Motorcycle Boots Fit?

Alpinestars boots should feel secure without squeezing your toes or creating uncomfortable pressure around your feet.

Your heel shouldn't lift excessively when walking, and there should be enough room to move your toes without the boot feeling loose.

Try boots with the socks you normally wear on the motorcycle. Thick winter socks can make a noticeable difference.

Remember that motocross boots such as the Tech 7 and Tech 10 are deliberately stiffer than touring boots or short riding shoes.
