Extremely Loud 100 dB Alarm Protection

At the heart of this system is the Oxford Boss Alarm Padlock, featuring an ear-splitting 100 dB alarm triggered by movement sensors. The alarm module is removable and sealed, making it resistant to vibration, water, frost and heat. The padlock can also be used without activating the alarm if required.

Independently Tested and Insurance Approved

The Oxford Boss Alarm Chain Lock has been independently tested and approved to the Sold Secure Powered Cycle (Motorcycle) GOLD standard. It is also SBSC certified and ART 4* approved, making it suitable for securing high-value motorcycles and potentially qualifying for insurance discounts in the UK.

Ultra-Strong Padlock Construction

The padlock features a massive 16 mm hardened steel shackle and an advanced anti-jack design capable of withstanding up to 4.5 tonnes of tensile load. It is attack tested and resistant to sledgehammer, saw, bolt cropper and drill attacks, delivering exceptional resistance in high-risk environments.

High-Strength 12 mm Chain

Supplied with a 12 mm square-link chain made from hardened Ni-Cro-Mo alloy steel, the system offers outstanding resistance to cutting and leverage attacks. The chain is case hardened to resist bolt cutters and zinc coated to prevent corrosion, while a protective cloth sleeve helps prevent paint damage and improves handling.

Versatile and Practical Design

The padlock can be used as a disc lock or as a padlock when paired with the chain, offering flexible security options. Long chain links help reduce overall weight while maintaining strength, and the chain can be easily stowed under the seat when not in use. The system is compatible with all Oxford ground anchors.

Key Replacement Service for Peace of Mind

Supplied with three keys, the Boss Alarm Lock includes access to a key replacement service. Simply record the unique key number provided and keep it safe. Replacement keys can be produced should all originals be lost.
