Extremely Loud 100 dB Alarm Deterrent

At the heart of the system is an integral alarm padlock featuring an ear-splitting 100 dB siren, triggered by sensitive movement sensors. The alarm can also be used in non-alarm mode if required. Its removable sealed alarm module is resistant to vibration, water, frost and heat, ensuring reliable performance in all conditions.

Independently Tested and Insurance Approved

The Oxford Boss Alarm Chain Lock has been independently tested and approved to the Sold Secure Powered Cycle (Motorcycle) GOLD standard and is SBSC certified. These approvals confirm its suitability for securing high-value motorcycles and may allow insurance discounts in the UK.

Ultra-Strong Padlock Construction

The padlock features a hardened steel shackle with an advanced anti-jack design capable of withstanding up to 4.5 tonnes of tensile load. It has been attack tested and is resistant to sledgehammer, saw, bolt cropper and drill attacks. The padlock can be used as a disc lock or as a padlock when paired with the chain.

High-Strength 12 mm Chain

Supplied with a 12 mm square-link chain made from Ni-Cro-Mo alloy steel, the system offers excellent resistance to cutting and leverage attacks. The chain is case hardened to resist bolt cutters and zinc coated to prevent corrosion. A protective cloth sleeve helps prevent paint damage and improves handling, while long links reduce weight and increase portability.

Practical Design and Key Replacement Service

The chain can be easily stowed under the seat when not in use and is compatible with all Oxford ground anchors. Supplied with three keys, the lock includes a key replacement service. Simply record the unique key number provided and keep it safe so replacement keys can be produced if all originals are lost.
