Klim Kodiak Jacket – Stealth Black

The Klim Kodiak is a flagship adventure touring jacket built for riders who cover serious distance in all conditions. Redesigned and loaded with features, it combines a 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro shell with D3O Level 2 armour, a removable 800-fill-power down jacket and a removable storm collar — everything needed for multi-day touring from the Alps to the Arctic. CE-A rated to EN 17092-4.

Shell and Construction

The outer shell is 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro with Gore’s Guaranteed to Keep You Dry® promise. Stretch Gore-Tex panels under the arms improve mobility without compromising waterproofing. Perforated goat leather overlays on the shoulders and elbows add abrasion resistance where it matters most. 3M Scotchlite reflective material and BiMotion recognition improve visibility in low light. YKK zippers and a front zipper storm flap complete the weather protection.

Armour System

D3O CE LP2 Pro armour is fitted at the elbows and shoulders as standard, with a D3O Viper CE Level 2 back pad included. Elbow armour is adjustable; all armour is removable. A siliconised vented spacer mesh chest protection panel and kidney belt are also included.

Ventilation

Two upper chest vents, two bicep intake vents, two massive adjustable wrist vents with dual zippers, and two vertical back exhaust vents provide extensive airflow management for warm-weather riding.

Storage

The Kodiak carries an exceptional amount of gear: two chest pockets, two billowed front cargo pockets, a satellite tracker/utility pocket on the chest, an internal chest zip pocket, an internal chest drop pocket, two lower internal zippered stash pockets, a hidden passport pocket in the lining, and a forearm emergency ID/hidden stash pocket.

Fit and Comfort

EU sizing. Features include a moisture-wicking breathable mesh liner, adjustable cinch collar, quick-adjust bicep, forearm and waist straps, articulated cuffs for glove interface, seamless underarm design, and a jacket-to-pant zip connection for use with compatible Klim trousers.

Included: Down Jacket

The Kodiak includes a separate wearable 800-fill-power down jacket (not a zip-in liner — wearable independently). Filled with 90/10 RDS-certified grey goose down, it features engineered seamless down baffles, highly wind-resistant 20D nylon fabric, DWR treatment, 3M Scotchlite reflective material, two zip hand pockets and packs into its own pocket.

Included: Storm Collar

The removable storm collar uses Schoeller waterproof durable 4-way stretch fabric, shaped for comfort around the face with an elastic section to cup the chin. Attaches via zip, snap and Velcro.
