The Klim Carlsbad is a fourth-generation adventure motorcycle jacket built around an “everything you need, nothing you don’t” philosophy. A Gore-Tex Performance Shell keeps you dry in all conditions, while Klim Rogue CE Level 2 armour and 630D Cordura overlays deliver serious protection. CE-AA certified to EN 17092-3.

Shell and Construction

The Gore-Tex Performance Shell is Guaranteed to Keep You Dry®. 630D Cordura twisted yarn overlays on the shoulders and elbows provide abrasion resistance, while the FPL400 main chassis fabric — shared with the Badlands Pro — delivers durability without unnecessary weight. An action back shoulder design improves mobility, and 3M Scotchlite Carbon Black reflective detailing aids visibility. YKK zippers with zip garages and a double-headed front zip complete the build.

Armour System

Klim Rogue CE Level 2 armour covers the shoulders and elbows (adjustable), with a full back protector featuring engineered spacer mesh for airflow. Cooling mesh pad pocket materials enhance breathability. Compatible with a kidney belt (sold separately).

Ventilation

Two double-headed forearm intake vents, two chest vents, two rear exhaust vents and a collar tab back for upper chest airflow provide effective temperature regulation across all riding conditions.

Storage

Two water-resistant front cargo pockets, two handwarmer pockets, an oversized water-resistant chest pocket, a chest utility/satellite device pocket, internal zippered stash and organiser pockets, a concealed document pocket behind the back protector, and a forearm emergency ID/hidden stash pocket.

Fit and Comfort

Moisture-wicking, anti-odour liner. Contoured comfort collar, adjustable collar cinch, forearm adjustment straps, adjustable hem, Velcro cuffs, glove-friendly zip pulls and a jacket-to-pant zip connection for use with compatible Klim trousers.
