Dainese Gullfossa D-Dry® Jacket – AA Rated All-Season Adventure Motorcycle Jacket

The Dainese Gullfossa D-Dry® Jacket is a modular, rally-inspired motorcycle jacket designed for all-season adventure and touring riders. Built to handle changing climates and long journeys, it combines advanced weather protection, ventilation and CE-certified safety in a versatile and ergonomic design.

Modular Waterproof & Thermal Performance

Equipped with a removable D-Dry® waterproof membrane rated up to a 10,000 mm water column, the Gullfossa offers excellent protection against rain and wind. The membrane can be worn either over or under the jacket using adjustable hook-and-loop fastenings. A removable thermal liner, which can also be worn separately, allows riders to adapt easily to cold, wet or mild conditions.

Advanced Ventilation for Warm Conditions

Designed for demanding adventure riding, the jacket features large chest air vents that channel airflow around the shoulders and extract heat from the back via an internal ventilation system. Additional sleeve vents with double-slider zips are optimised for standing riding, ensuring effective cooling even in hot climates.

CE-Certified Protection and Touring Safety

Certified to the EN 17092 AA standard, the Gullfossa D-Dry® Jacket meets Dainese’s high safety standards. It comes equipped with ventilated Pro-Armor soft protectors certified to CE EN 1621-1 Level 2 on the shoulders and elbows, delivering excellent impact protection while maintaining flexibility and airflow.

Smart Air™ Airbag Compatibility

The jacket is predisposed to be worn over the Dainese Smart Air™ airbag system with D-air® technology, allowing riders to add advanced airbag protection without compromising comfort or fit.

Back & Chest Protector Compatibility by Jacket Size

The Gullfossa D-Dry® Jacket includes dedicated pockets for optional Dainese back and chest protectors. These protectors are sold separately and can be added to enhance rider safety. The correct protector size depends on the jacket size, as outlined below.

Comfort, Fit and Practical Features

An adjustable fit on the hips, arms, wrists and neck ensures excellent ergonomics for long rides. The collar features a double-button adjustment and hook fastening for added comfort. Practical storage includes front pockets, a waterproof internal pocket and a rear cargo pocket for stowing the waterproof membrane when not in use. A jacket-to-pants fastening system enhances stability while riding.
