The Shark Skwal i3 is unlike any other full-face helmet on the road. Building on the pioneering LED lighting system introduced with the original Skwal, the i3 takes it further with the addition of active brake lights as standard — no cables, no Bluetooth required. An integrated triaxial accelerometer detects deceleration and activates the rear LEDs automatically, making you more visible to following traffic exactly when it matters most.

Smart LED Lighting & Active Brake Lights

The i3's full LED light system has been completely redesigned for this generation. Signature lighting runs across the shell in a motorsport-inspired pattern, delivering both a distinctive aesthetic and a genuine safety function. The active brake light system operates independently, requiring no pairing or charging beyond the helmet's own power source.

ECE 22-06 Certified

The Skwal i3 exceeds the requirements of the UN ECE 22-06 standard — the most stringent homologation currently in force for road helmets in the UK and Europe.

Shell & Construction

Built with a high-impact Lexan™ injected polycarbonate shell in two shell sizes to optimise fit and weight distribution across the size range. Multi-density EPS padding provides progressive impact absorption.

Visor & Ventilation

Fitted as standard with a Class 1 optical anti-scratch visor with Pinlock® 70 insert included. An integrated anti-scratch, anti-fog sun visor is built in, and the visor locking system includes an air inlet position for low-speed ventilation.

Comfort & Fit

Shark's "Best Fit" liner geometry, developed through a 3D scan campaign across a wide range of head shapes, delivers a second-skin feel across five highly technical textile layers. The patented ergonomic textile fixing system and micrometric adjustment buckle ensure a secure, personalised fit.
