Atlas Vision Neck Collar Black

The Vision is an anti-compression collar for riders who want more head movement than a traditional full-frame neck brace allows. Its open front and rear leave room to look up, down and around on the bike, while the shoulder-mounted frame is designed to help manage neck compression and sideways bending forces.

It is not a full-frame neck brace. Unlike the Atlas Air, it does not provide the front and rear support intended to help manage forward flexion or backward extension. If you already use a full-frame brace for those functions, Atlas recommends continuing with one.

Design and fit

• D3O impact-absorbing padding, engineered for the Vision and designed to withstand repeated impacts.
• Split Slit-Flex frame follows body movement; the shape leaves the spine and sternum free.
• Shoulder-mounted design self-adjusts at the chest, with taller pads included to adjust collar height.
• 7075 aluminium Easy Open release and a two-piece Hybrid Strap for a secure, accessible fit.

Compared with Atlas Air

Atlas states that the Vision delivers 50% greater reduction of compression impact forces, 66% more range of motion and 45% lower weight than its Atlas Air brace. The force comparison applies to compression only, not to every type of neck movement.

Intended for non-seated activities using a full-face helmet, including motocross, off-road riding, BMX and mountain biking. Not recommended for seated, belted activities such as car racing or side-by-sides.
