Groundbreaking Active Noise Cancellation Technology

The defining feature of the C5 ANC is its ability to support true Active Noise Cancellation, significantly reducing low-frequency wind and road noise that traditional passive helmets cannot eliminate.

This system was developed by combining SCHUBERTH’s extensive wind-tunnel and aeroacoustic expertise with Cardo’s leadership in communication and audio processing. The result is a riding environment that feels calmer, quieter, and less fatiguing — particularly noticeable on long motorway journeys.

Important: The helmet is ANC-ready but the intercom system is NOT included as standard. The Active Noise Cancellation function works exclusively with the Cardo / Schuberth SC EDGE ANC communication system, which must be purchased separately.

We stock the correct SC EDGE ANC unit, and when purchased together with the helmet, we offer 16.67% off the intercom (equivalent to the VAT), making it significantly better value to buy both at the same time.

Industry-Leading Aeroacoustics and Comfort

Noise management has always been central to SCHUBERTH design, and the C5 ANC pushes this further than any previous helmet. Wind-tunnel development, a redesigned neck roll, and a new rear spoiler work together to achieve an outstanding only 86 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike.

The interior features SCHUBERTH’s INDIVIDUAL seamless lining system, allowing fit customisation while delivering exceptional comfort and long-distance support. All interior materials are OEKO-TEX® 100 certified.

Advanced Shell and Impact Protection

The helmet shell is manufactured using DFP (Direct Fiber Processing) fibreglass reinforced with carbon fibre. This construction delivers improved shock absorption while keeping weight low and structural integrity high.

A newly developed dual-density EPS with expanded internal headroom enhances impact energy management, while redesigned side EPS allows accommodation of larger 53 mm speakers for optimal audio performance.

Please note: the communication unit itself is not included and must be purchased separately to activate Bluetooth, intercom, and Active Noise Cancellation functionality.

Warranty

The Schuberth C5 ANC includes a 5-year warranty when the purchase is registered online with SCHUBERTH. Registration details are provided on request.
